Our question was: in a world where retailers don’t share purchase data with each other, how can we achieve similar results for all retailers and brands to drive forecasting, recommendations and personalization?
This led our team to innovate and create our patent-protected approach to discerning and gathering purchase data every month (leveraging our proprietary visual A.I. and NLP) from a wide variety of sites such as Amazon, eBay, Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Michael Kors, Coach and more.
We filter over 3.5Bn purchase data transactions and 30MM “bought with” connections across 6.4MM SKUs to reveal insights such as:
- which products are bought most often with your products across all retail;
- brand and SKU criticality: which items or brands act as hubs influencing the purchase of other brands and products
- the potential negative effects of removing a product on the sales of other co-occurring products
