During a climbing trip in the ADK, I took a toprope opportunity to try mounting a camera to my ice tool. While the angle needs adjusting and I need to be more wary of droplets on the lens (the second half of the climb was indiscernible), I think this clip shows the great potential of this perspective. FYI, the pump from the levered weight of the camera on the tool shaft is a huge downer. This editing attempt is my first video edited with iMovie 11.
The climb itself was a thin smear to the left of Whiteface Mtn.'s Chiller Pillar. Warm conditions meant that this was the only option that day. Note the number of fast-forwarded segments while I rooted around for a placement ;).
