performance for 6 performers, 20min.
Museum of Art, Lodz, May 2009
The subversive movement and perverse phantasm are gently placed in the daily life of the museum through the dance performance Six silhouettes on the background of the collection. The permanent exhibition of the Museum of Art is transformed into a dance scene. The performance is played after the opening hours of the museum, in an empty space of the gallery, no longer accesible to the public.
Zorka Wollny did something seemingly impossible, she discovered the secret kinship affinity between such strange phenomena like dance and a museum. Both - the dance performance and the operation of the museum are possible by the mastery of movement - the movement of your own body in the first case and the movement of other bodies in the second.
