Early May I had a camera in a heated box taking pictures for nearly 30h on the roof of DSL (Dark Sector Lab) facing SPT (South Pole Telescope).
It was the first dark weekend of 2019, i.e. the sun was far enough below the horizon, no moon and clear weather with temperatures around -65°C.
The variety of auroras over that period is absolutely amazing. So watch the whole video ;)
