UPDATE: My "Submission for the Opera Company of Philadelphia" became the "Winner of the Opera Company of Philadelphia." Much thanks and love to everyone involved!
The Opera Company of Philadelphia has opened up a contest between students of the different competing film programs/schools here in the city of brotherly love. We were given an option of a handful of different arias to create a silent film to accompany them to be used for future promotional use.
This is my entry.
"Libiamo ne'lieti calici" from Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata, is a song of love, drinking, some more love and some more drinking. So what better way to represent the love for drinking and drink of love than through excess and consumption beyond our comfort? After all everything is always better when it sparkles. Enjoy!
