Fatta Cuckoo owner Leah Tinari shares her family recipe for egg nog:
6 eggs (separate yolks/whites)
3/4 cup & 2 tbsp sugar
1 pint heavy cream
1 quart whole milk
3/4 cup whiskey
1/2 cup white rum
*makes enough to fill a punch bowl!
Add sugar to the egg whites and blend until white and frothy. In a separate bowl, mix the yolks with a whisk. Add the yolks to the mixer and blend. Add your milk and cream and blend again. Now add your booze and stir. Chill overnight. To serve: pour into a glass and top with ground nutmeg. Then drink! Cheers!
