After a long time spent unedited and unloved on my computer, I finally finished this little film!
I had placed my trusted go-pro in its waterproof casing facing backwards behind the saddle, between my two water bottles.
That race was an "almost half ironman" at the end of May 2011 in the beautiful New Forest:
1.9Km swim, 82Km bike and 22.5Km run.
The heavens opened on the race morning and the roads were fully wet, leading to numerous punctures around the field, including me.
I eventually got going again after a 1/2h battle with my rear tubular tire because I was frozen and had no energy in my fingers; but I rode (excluding the puncture time) 2h17min for 82Km, and ran 1h41min for the 22.5Km run leg! Eventually finished in 5h16min, with a 29min puncture repair, which isn't bad at all!
