I am intrigued by the subtlety of the changing colours in the sky during the rising of the Earth's shadow on the eastern horizon during sunset. The event only lasts 20 minutes and is often overwhelmed by foreground clouds which are lit by the glow of the setting sun in the west. This short video shows a series of images that I have created that attempt to reveal that subtlety and how those images were developed.
