Anjala and Shamsher celebrated their marriage with four days of wedding festivities and traditional customs. The first day was kicked off with the bride's sangeet on December 9, 2011. This event was held at the Torch restaurant in Buena Park. The second event was the bride's mehndi on December 14, 2011. This was a small and intimate event held at the bride's mother's home. The third event was held on December 15, 2011 at the bride's mother's home. This is a very traditional pre-wedding Punjabi ceremony where the groom and bride exchange rings and receive special gifts and blessing from their close family and friends, called the shagun. The last day was the Anand Karaj (Sikh wedding ceremony), this was held on December 17, 2011. The ceremony took place at the Buena Park Gurdwara and the reception followed at the Crowne Plaza in Garden Grove.

The bride wanted to share the pre-wedding events with all of her guest on the last day, so we created a highlight that reflected all of the festivities. It was played at the reception before dinner.

Behind the scenes: We covered the events with 1 Canon 5D DSLR camera and the wedding with 3 Canon 5D DSLR cameras, sliders and glide cams. The client received a highlight and an extended reel of all events, plus all raw files.
