The video summarizes the team building and training school hosted by Fraunhofer IIS in the context of the Realvision (realvision-itn.eu/) project. The aim of this training school was to introduce the early stage researchers (ESRs) with topics related to light-field capturing and processing through series of lectures from the experts of the field, following with the practical sessions. The workshop was attended by 13 early stage researchers (ESRs), their supervisors as well as invited external guest speakers. In the practical sessions, the ESRs have captured camera footage using a camera array as well as a robot system, processed the data with the Realception plugin developed by Fraunhofer IIS for the post-production tool Nuke and afterwards integrated the data into the Unreal Engine for being able to visualize the captured light-field content in VR with a head-mounted display.
