(Noemi, 2004, by Ruggero Lancia)
A comfortable representation of childhood does not cope with the difficult changes such age use to be coupled with. In this period, metamorphosing toward adolescence and adulthood, each change is paralleled by the shadow of a permanent loss shaping the world of the child in a dreadful vision of instability. Parents appear unlikely to solve such a drama, which their daily choices tend to aliment as much as to extinguish, despite the love and cares they provide. How children live such a lonely struggle is the question this short movie try to answer.
