#SFPD is celebrating Pride Month in June by sporting new Pride Patches. We're the first law enforcement agency in the nation to do so.
Funds raised by donations for the patches will support Larkin Street Youth Services. Larkin Street does tremendous work to improve the lives of thousands of homeless youth.
We also want to highlight our pride in being SFPD officers. SFPD strives to be a diverse department and has officers out at almost every rank. We want to encourage positive conversations with LGBTQ communities and the Pride Patch symbolizes our inclusiveness.
If that's not enough, we’ll be sporting our special Pride SUV on City streets during the month of June. Keep an eye out for it and say hello when you spot our officers!
