* Highly Commended - British WIldlife Photography Awards 2012 *
A short film I made about the Dippers (Cinclus cinclus) for the camera skills module of the MA Wildlife Documentary Production at Salford University. It was wonderful spending days in the Derbyshire Dales watching these fascinating little birds coming and going. They are very quick, and so hard to film, but with a bit of time and patience you get to know which perches they prefer, and their paths to and from their nest so you can anticipate their movements.
Shot with a Canon 7D, Tokina 11-16, Canon 70-300, Canon 400 5.6 + 1.4xTC. Edited on FCP
