This was my favorite character to work on for the game. He has really nice voice acting and an interesting design, plus a great facial rig built by Shinichiro Hara. The total footage is over 8 minutes with various idles and accents not seen here. Because of the way the game is built, each line of dialog has to return to the idle. There are some pops and glitches in the video, which is where he would have blended back to idles in the game. Looking back, I think I could have got around this problem of always having to start and stop in the same idle, but with so much footage to do in a short amount of time, I'm just happy to have him fully animated. I also had to do most of the scripting in the game engine once he was intially setup, which is actually quite fun to get "correct." This character is 100% fully animated, from face to body, no automated systems.
