Organic Fair Trade Event, 21 November 2011, Sydney, Australia
African Pacific is a fairly traded company specialising in organics and fairly traded products from the South Pacific.
We work with environmentally sustainable principles for the full product cycle - from the seed to the products to the packaging. We have initiated and worked alongside growers of coconut, cocoa, and vanilla in the region since 1998.
The network, the Pacific Growers Export Partnership (PGEP), has grown to around 12,000 growers.
Sakiasi Veitogavi - Fijian team leader for the PGEP
Caleb Jarvis, Trade Commissioner, Pacific Islands Trade & Investment Commision
Andreas Lombardozzi - Founder- African Pacific and Nui, who produce the world's first certified organic soap - which is now manufactured from Fiji with the help of the $1 a day program.
At the event there were also tables with some excellent Christmas Gifts, Nui products such as body butters and washes, shaving creams, coconut oil and flour, cocoa, and Chocolate bars. with some light "Fair trade" refreshments. You can also meet the growers online by visiting nuigeneration.com or visit the Nui web at nuicoconut.com
