This Memorial Day Weekend Swell was a rare bird. We hardly ever get waves this good on Memorial Day. This year was special on so many levels. It's the 75th Anniversary of D-DAY June 6th, 1944. I wanted to get this edit up on this special day. In our town of Hampton, NH we have fours services on the seacoast. We start on the beach at 0800 and end with a parade in downtown Hampton. This year I had the privilege and the honor to drive a dear friend of mine in the parade. Frank Grondin is a 97 year old WWII veteran who was wounded in combat. He's the father of my oldest living friend Kevin Grondin. Kevin, Kim, Leah, and Kody are family to me and my family. I know this is a surf video, but we wouldn't be surfing without the WWII Veterans Saving the World. This edit is for them and their families. Thank you for SAVING THE WORLD. May God Bless You All. The soundtrack is by JOHNNY A. Super talented guitarist who I love. The surfers that I can remember are: Kainalu Nichols, Ian Dreher, James Morse, Matt Colby, Carter Walsh, Max Fatello, Shayne Forsley, Pev, and a bunch more that I may or may not know.
