Tailor reinvents the "fashion-tech" concept
Tailor is a B2B service for the fashion industry with the mission of providing two totally disruptive solutions to the online clothing purchasing process.
The first proposal is to eliminate the return rate; the main reason for reverse logistics, because the sizes do not fit the users, since they choose the size blindly.
The second is to allow the user to try on the clothes before making the purchase digitally.
For this we have developed the following functionalities:
"B2B room", an API and a plug-in or web extension easily adaptable to the websites of fashion and sports companies, which allows linking the app and web portals with a simple log-in.
"Tailor room", by means of a real-time body recognition game based on the "selfie" method, allows us to know exactly our body measurements, just as we would obtain them through a tailor.
"Fitting room", where the users can try on the clothes digitally at once, as if he were in a fitting room.
The project has seen the light after two years of research and development, led by a team of Spanish data scientists and programmers and with the collaboration of a cast of 20 specialists in various areas.
A sophisticated artificial intelligence system trained with big data and developed with the latest neural network technology applied to image processing, which allows us to dramatically improve the user's shopping experience.
We totally re-invent the concept of "selfie" and its relationship with the human body, all through automatic shots, where the user is immersed in a real-time digital experience.
During this journey the startup was selected as a finalist to join the Garaje de Lanzadera incubation program and the Orbita startup acceleration program of the CEEI in Castellón.
A new perspective for fashionistas, for people who value their time as a prized asset and for those fashion and sports brands who suffer the devastating effects of the return rate of clothing purchased online, which currently stands at 56%.
The beta version, which is now available for men, has been subjected for 5 months to stress and usability tests obtaining remarkable metrics on stability and precision.
