Divan Patisseries has been applying new marketing strategies in order to extend its target audience since 2010. To do this, they do not hesitate to use the profits of social media. With special contests and campaigns they reach many young people on social media.
To support their campaigns and to increase the followers of their website, Design In Situ offered proposed a viral video campaign. What makes this campaign different than others was the long term viral strategy of it. To create curiosity and to motivate people to follow Facebook page of Divan, the announcement of the video was done with 5 different posters with mysterious questions. The distrubution of the viral video is combined with different question contests in 6-months-range. These questions were related to the story or the visuals on the viral video.
The viral video tells a funny and in a way absurd story of a princess which we all know from the fairy tales or melodramas. Divan products or visuals are gently embedded in to the scenes of the animation to give a hint about the end of the story.
