“MyL” nos reúne a Mariana y a mí con casi 40 años de edad habiendo dedicado gran parte de nuestras vidas a las artes escénicas. Este proyecto tiene el objetivo de cuestionarse, a través de la danza contemporánea, el flamenco,el teatro y la acrobacia, no sólo lo íntimo del encuentro entre dos personas en escena sino también como éste se refleja en nuestra sociedad actual desde la sencilla relación de un hombre y una mujer que lo único que quieren compartir es un baile juntos.
Este proyecto cuenta con una versión de larga duración llamada también“MyL” que se estrenará próximamente. La versión corta de "MyL" se estrenó el 18 de Mayo de 2019 en el Festival Umore Azoka en Leioa, País Vasco.

How do we aproach to someone we think is different from us? What bring us together? And what bring us apart?What can a flamenco dancer bring to a contemporary dancer?And
viceversa? How can two people who communicate through movement but from different backgrounds (flamenco and contemporary) understand each other? How can the unknown affect us?
This project reunites Mariana and me reaching 40 years old and with almost all of our lives dedicated to performing arts. Mariana is a
flamenco dancer and me, Lucio, a contemporary dancer, actor and acrobat. “MyL” aims to question on stage, through dance, theatre and acrobatics, how it is to face what we consider different but also how this encounter reflects on our society; between two dancers who only have the wish to share a dance together.
This piece of work was crafted in the Temporary Residences awarded to the project by the CDC (Centro Danza Canal) in Madrid and the project “Madrid en Crudo” of the City Hall of Madrid, Spain. The short version of “MyL” was premiered on May 18th 2019 in Umore Azoka Festival, Basque Country, Spain. The long version of“MyL” will be premiered on 2019.
