Future Artefacts

Maximilian Goßler

Fake advertisements as part of the Diploma Thesis 'future artefacts' to visualize how the common future of man and artificial intelligence might look like.

First clip:

In a future shaped by virtual and augmented reality(AR), there may still be a need for handmade art and crafts. With the help of a haptic feedback glove, artists in such a future can create objects by hand that nevertheless only exist in virtual space, but can also be interactive, vivid and individual. What can be seen are works from the future AR artists community ARtisans through .

Second clip:

In a possibly even faster future, the need to temporarily relieve the permanent decision-making pressure can be satisfied by an Intelligent Personal Assistant (PIA). In order for this Assistant called Mycroft to actually act and decide, however, he needs a legal basis which, as an example for many other capabilities of such systems, is presented in the form of a contract between a user and Mycroft.

Third ad:

"Bodycare" is a service that restores general physical well-being by adjusting the electrolyte, vitamin and hormone balance. The doses of substances are calculated individually by AI with the aid of a chip implant and absorbed by the body via non-invasive transdermal patches, which can be produced with a special 3D printer.

Fourth ad:

"Xperiencer" is a new professional form that allows other members of their community to live their lives for one day. This is made possible by a 360° camera in the form of a fashionable headband, whereby viewers can participate live into the life of the Xperiencer with a VR headset and can even influence themselves what they want to "experience" next against payment
