Galway Christmas Market
Last Sunday the Galway Continental market closed up its stalls after another year. The market first opened in 2010 and returned this year to Eyre square, with a wide variety of stalls including corn dogs, pretzels, mulled wine, hats and gloves just to mention a few. The buzz down the square was great and between the traders and customers there was a real sense of Christmas, with lights and smells akin to our very own North Pole! I must say I really enjoyed my trip around the Market meeting some of the different traders, some had travelled very far to take part and others were local business using the opportunity to showcase to many Galwayians and others from around the country who had travelled to see the market. I'm looking forward to seeing what the guys have planned for 2012
