The extraordinary life of Samuel Clemens, better known as Mark Twain, is shown in drawings, paintings, sketches and other non-photographic images collected by Rod Rawlings, who portrays Twain professionally on stage. Twain continues to influence American culture a century after his death. As a writer, speaker, humorist and social philosopher, he was without peer in his time. He was and still is "the Lincoln of our literature." The first of his three-part autobiography, as arranged and published by the University of California, Berkeley, was a best seller in 2010.
