»Flux – digitale Brunnen« is a procedurally generated and light based media art installation, that explores the sensual qualities of water. The digital water flows in abstract pixel patterns and is projected onto four canvases, each displaying a different kind of water motion. The motion's intensity can be controlled via four handcrafted valves. Flux was created as a bachelor project, in the interactive media program, at university of applied sciences augsburg (showcase.hs-augsburg.de) in summer of 2018. Thanks a lot to Prof. Robert Rose und Rosa Rohm for your supervision!
As the city of Augsburg has applied for World Heritage status, with its unique water management system, »Flux« was created for the city's application campaign. Thank you, Ulrich Müllegger and team, for supporting the idea ( wassersystem-augsburg.de/en/augsburgs-candidacy-become-unesco-world-heritage-site)
