The Hani App Project

The Hani App project was created in collaboration with The Global Sound Movement. It aims to make an original contribution to the field of visual arts research by exploring transitions between traditional culture and digital media, where one informs another in a two-way, reciprocal process to create new artefacts.

The research question driving this investigation is whether gamification can be used as an interactive and transformative tool for artistic expression and design to engage learning and raise awareness and appreciation of traditional, historical and cultural related experience.
