One of my earliest commercials - this one kind of fell in my lap. At the end of a long night of drinking in SoHo, a group of us were all standing on the sidewalk saying our goodbyes and getting ready to disperse. Apparently bored by this, one of my friends (William Cotton, featured in the spot) decided he'd rather spend the time repeatedly falling backward into the nearest security gate headfirst, making a game out of how far out he could stand and still do it. I shot it the next day, and sold it to Converse within the month.
