Auto shoppers and auto dealers, Shouldn’t you enjoy the car buying process? Well studies show that 99% of you DON'T.
And if you are a driver who uses adaptive equipment or the dealership trying to sell to them, THE RESULTS CAN BE EVEN WORSE. Lets change that today. My name is Josh Ingalls, and I founded Control The Road after an experience helping a friend with a disability to purchase a car.
I saw firsthand that many dealerships are unable to truly meet the needs of drivers who use adaptive mobility equipment and I decided it was time for a solution. Let me explain what Control The Road does: We connect the driving community, support organizations, and the adaptive mobility industry to engaged, disability aware, CTR certified auto retailers, We Educate BOTH the driving community, and auto dealers about adaptive driving and how to purchase a vehicle in a truly positive way, and… We provide Support to improve knowledge, increase access and strengthen those connections. We Do Not sell cars, trucks, SUV's, vans or any other vehicles (CTR does not sell vehicles). Auto dealers do that. We do not train drivers how to use adaptive equipment or install it for them (CTR does not evaluate drivers or install equipment). Driving Rehabilitation Instructors and QAP Installers do that. We created THE Control The Road Automotive Resource HUB. The ONLY tool of its kind, to research and connect, available to everyone.
Changing this retail environment is a lofty--but worthy-- goal, and we know we can reach it with the combined efforts of everyone involved. I hope you’ll visit our Automotive Connection Hub to access CTR resources and guides. You can also search for certified local dealerships OR recommend ones we should contact for FREE training. Join us on social media to learn more about our community, or please feel free to reach out to me, at any time, with questions or suggestions. You’ll find my direct contact information below. Thank you for your continued support.
