Each fall, the Department of Environmental and Health Sciences at Northern Vermont University-Johnson, hosts a popular speaker series featuring experts on topics in science for EHS students, faculty, campus community members, and the general public. The presentations are one of the many ways NVU-Johnson provides learning opportunities beyond the classroom to help students expand their knowledge and make connections with professionals in their field of study.
These presentations took place on Wednesday afternoons and coordinated by EHS Professor Les Kanat, Ph.D. All presentations ran from 4 to 5:15 p.m. in 207 Bentley Hall, and were free and open to the public.
This week's Current Topics in Science Series presenter was Grahame Bradley, Ph.D.,
Program Hydrogeologist and Soil Geologist, VT Department of Environmental Conservation. His presentation was on Landscape Evolution and Hydrogeology of the Katonga Valley in Southwest Uganda.
