Alexa and Siri, those AI voices poised to answer our questions, are by date of invention children, respectively 4 and 8 years old. I decided to ask children between the ages of 4 and 8 what they thought the future might be like, and what they thought of these question-able voices that speak with such certainty.
This is not a video about the future, but about the way some children think about the future right now, in the present. They have tools in the form of objects, and also in the words of radical thinkers, but together we will have to create an arena in which to use them.
