I think for many of us, it was the scene that ‘stole’ the dinner musical: The Neighborhood. A young mother (Natasha Allen) simply walks into the neighborhood, takes the plastic baby out of the manger, places in her own child (Connor), and sits on the stoop to dream of what her child could become. I suppose it is the dream of every parent. That bundle of innocent potential gives us such hope for their tomorrows. But then, life rolls in, and for far too many young people, that ‘bundle of potential turns to chaos, and we wait for ‘New Year’s Eve’, that glorious night that ushers in the ‘New Year’ with all of its potential for fresh beginnings. A tradition that the NT has long embraced...
