Over the holidays, I spent several days sketching, coding, sculpting, painting, and building my first Arduino-based, Munny doll. It's a night light that uses a phototransistor to detect the presence of light. When the lights go out, the Munny doll lights up a wand that is connected to an LED. After a specific amount of time or when the doll detects light again, the LED shuts off. On the backside of the Munny, there's a button that cycles through a set of fixed time intervals that the LED stays on for.
One of the fun things about separating the wand from the rest of the doll is that there's the option to build a whole slew of wands as long as there is an LED with two contact points, e.g. ninja star wand, poop wand, etc.
I'll be sharing more on the build, code, etc. later this week. Thanks for stopping by!
