The Pine Ridge Indian reservation in South Dakota belongs to the Oglala Lakota Sioux. In Pine Ridge the unemployment rate is more than 80%. There is also a big problem with alcohol, drugs and gang related violence. This story is about Garfield Steele and Vic Camp who both grew up in Manderson, a small village on the reservation. They were both leaders in two rival gangs. At times they were close to kill each other. A few years later they are now best friends going around the reservation and tell their story to youngsters in order to try and make Pine Ridge and Manderson a better, safer place.
