I don't normally like taking videos or photos at gigs, I prefer to enjoy them first hand! However I'd bought myself a Flip MinoHD recently, and I wanted to see how it did in a concert.
Much to my surprise, it did *very* well! Much better than I thought. There's a bit of hand shaking, and the sound isn't crystal, but you can hear more than I thought. I think with a few do-it-yourself modifications, I could do better next time.
