WHAT ROLE FOR GOVERNMENTS IN MITIGATING CLIMATE CHANGE?
While many governments are failing to keep their commitments regarding climate change, the world’s youth are taking to the streets, as their confidence in the decision-making authorities has been shaken. Is the current system compatible with a permanent solution? How can the political system be part of a long-term vision with respect to environmental issues? Can the market self-adjust to address these issues or is political action needed?
