In the darkest wintertime during a storm or gale, the shores of Tahkoluoto can be crowded of storm fishing gulls coming from the North Ice Sea. 31/12/2011 there was only a few herring gull and one common crow. But anyway, it's always nice to watch how skillfully these birds, even the crow, catch small fish among the waves.
