When navigating through our lives how do we experience the idea of time? How can we hold onto something that is technically weightless?
We travel though time orienting ourselves with ephemeral moments that have no relevance until our minds exhaust our bodies into giving our memories weight.
Then they, these grave-fleeting moments, crash through the larger landscape of memory and leave us disoriented. We are holding onto something that we can no longer psychically experience, it bares no significant truth aside from that which the measures of time have allowed us to create.
I have distilled four months into five minutes and forty-seven seconds. Two sound artists have interpreted this video, the lightness and darkness of each soundtrack creates an emotional lens through which to experience the landscape of my mind. They explore and reflect different times and ways in which we can experience the same memories.
