Electronic devices are directly built in the piece, enabling the garments to react to their environment thanks to motion detection sensors.
The first dress is equipped with a miniature camera capturing an image which is then projected on a bigger screen in real time. The dress also gages the distance between the first and second dancer and it subtly starts to move - we could even say it dances. The second dress, more discreet in its appearance and movement, is only equipped with motion detection sensors.
Envisioned in collaboration with Choreographer William Yong and with WAVEFACE.
