We find ourselves in week two of our summer sermon series The Ten Commandments. You've probably heard of them before. Last week, we covered that God gave these rules for our benefit and meant for relationship between God and us and one another. Relationship comes before rules. Today, we look at commandment number two, "You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything..." When Israel would stray from their relationship with God, it almost always began with the worship of idols. What about today, what idols do we worship? Pastor Jim would suggest the images we make could cause us to stumble. In other words, how does our understanding of God limit God?
