Along the idea of "The Internet of Things", Serendipity is a new social catalyst that visually shows the users their compatibility to others in the form of colored auras. It is meant to entice users into interacting with people they would normally feel too self-conscious to approach.
This project is a raw design concept. The story assumes that everyone in the future would have this Serendipity device. The technology required to enable the use of a "compatibility reader" is at present in the beginning stages, therefore, again, this system is rather a futurecast of where social networking could potentially trend 40 years from now.
