Wreck of the Avalon located near Palos Verdes, CA USA. The wreck lies in 70'-75' depth. Video taken February 2009. The remains are of a steel 269' long passenger steam ship built in 1891. During a storm on September 16, 1964, her anchor chain broke and she foundered, coming to rest on the bottom 70' below.
