During all years until August 2011 Glenn has visited Karel weekly. In the many interviews it was Karel who suddenly told Glenn about his youth and how he at the age of 10 was an underground post boy for hided Jews during World War II. The production team felt responsible to record this subject not only for institutes for war affairs, museums and war researchers but also for next generations.

His art is of highest influence for the Dutch sculptures.

Not only the interviews are filmed, but also Karel at work e.g. when he is producing a portrait in clay. So far the whole production is financed out of the own resources of the production team (Glenn Sluisdom, Marieke Wichers, Dagmar Gerritse and Erik Aurik). The production is meant to be a historical document also important for next generations.

The Commedia dell’art series and the sculpture Job are only a small part of Karels total works.

Many documentaries (in broadcast HD quality) can be produced with different scripts from all the raw material. When the production team makes some money they will continue and finish this important job.
