The film examines the way that ownership of archeological history in Jerusalem acquires validity in the present through ownership of the land. The movie presents the way in which holding on to the past in Jerusalem affects the future of the city and its residents. The film examines three main focal points of activity: the Rockefeller Museum, the Israeli Antiquities Authority, and the the City of David National Park, which is funded and managed by the Elad Association.

הסרט בוחן את הבעלות על ההיסטוריה הארכיאולוגית של ירושלים שמקבלת תוקף בהווה באמצעות בעלות על הקרקע. הסרט מבקש להראות כיצד האחיזה בעברה של ירושלים משפיעה על עתידה של העיר וכלל תושביה. בכדי להראות את אותה בעלות ייבחנו שלושה מוקדי פעילות: מוזיאון רוקפלר, רשות העתיקות והגן הלאומי "עיר דוד" הממומן ומנוהל על ידי עמותת אלע"ד.
