Gregory Gavin talks about his public art project "Riveropolis: The Orchard River," at the Los Altos History Museum.
The Orchard River featured community made trees as part of an elaborate water sculpture specific to the orchard landscape of Los Altos Oct 15th and 16th, 2011 as part of the opening celebration of "Shaped by Water: Past, Present and Future," an exhibit about the history of water in the SF Bay area.
Hightlights include an interview with Gregory Gavin, the community volunteers at his tree making workshop and at the opening celebration.
"Shaped by Water: Past, Present and Future" runs Oct 8, 2011-April 22, 2012.
