ECHO is an organization that has its sights set on eliminating world hunger. They do this through training international NGO's, key in-country agricultural experts, and anyone else who has a heart for the poor.
Tim Watkins was one of the first interns to go into the field and return to become a member of ECHO staff. Tim now trains others who visit the ECHO demonstration farm in Ft. Myers, Florida.
The purpose of this short profile is to simply introduce prospective partners and donors to the kind of people who make up this excellent team.
I must say that after 30 years of producing corporate, story-oriented films and videos for my clients, ECHO has impressed me as being one of the more visionary and practical I've seen. They know their business. ECHO's focus on best practices for agriculture and what they call "Appropriate Technologies" is a powerful combination. To learn more about them, which I recommend, visit echo.org.
Budget: Part of a package that included a week of shooting, concept, post-production and four videos. The portion of the work that was not considered "pro-bono" came to less than $15,000.
