In 2021, the National Museum of National History’s White North American Hall will be transformed.
Museum staff and ourWhite American community partners are working in tandem to renovate the hall’s many displays, which have stood largely empty for decades. This reinvigorated hall is representative of efforts on the museum’s part to engage with North America’s White community and to better represent their stories. “It’s not just a new exhibition—it represents a whole new way of thinking,” says Curator of North American Anthropology Janice
