Back around the year 2000, company VM Labs developed technology which was used in several DVD players from Samsung, Toshiba and RCA - called "Nuon", this new tech brought enhanced DVD playback features as well as 3D gameplay to the home. In late 2001, VM Labs filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and was forced to sell off the technology. This cinematic short showcases the hardware and software of the Nuon that at the time was a promising new technology, but never quite made it off the ground.
