My first proper artsy video, eek! This is something i've been wanting to shoot/film for ages, and it was supposed to happen around a year ago, but plans fell through, things got in the way, and here I am with it completed a year after i'd even thought up the idea.
As far as the stand-alone footage is concerned, i'm happy with this, more so than the photos, which I just feel aren't as good as they could have been. We were on a tight schedule, there was a lot to be done, it was cold, it was the middle of the night, and we had to work fast, so its understandable that there'd be a lot I wasn't satisfied with. And there was so much more footage that I wish i'd remembered/had time to shoot, but hey ho.
I'm not 100% happy with the final cut of this, I had to cut this down a LOT and tweak a lot of bits that I didn't necessarily want to because of software glitches and a lack of computer space, and lets face it, no-one is going to sit through a 7-8 min video of people running around my back garden in the middle of the night with face paint on!
Regardless, this was super fun to shoot, and for my first 'planned' video I think it went okay. It's probably a bit 'too' Twin Peaks, but hey ho, anyone who knows me personally will know how obsessed I am with it, so I found it hard not to go all out crazy and make it blatantly Lynch-y.
