This segment is the third part of 'Jack's Fortunate Life'. During the university holidays, eighteen year-old Jack Featherstone went to work in the wheat town of Temora in inland New South Wales. Jack remembers this time in Temora as one of the best times of his life. Later, Jack would periodically return to Temora to escape the stresses of life elsewhere. Now, in his eighties, Jack spends months working on paintings, detailing his past experiences and memories of the landscape of Temora.
