Synopsis
En quête d’apaisement, Justine se rend au chalet de sa mère récemment décédée. Trouvant une vieille combinaison de plongée, elle se met à visiter les profondeurs du lac.
Justine searches for solace at her late mother's cottage. When she comes across an old scuba suit, she decides to explore the bottom of the lake.
Bio
Ariane marque ses début avec son court métrage LA PEAU SAUVAGE, film qui a voyagé dans plus de cinquante festivals à travers le monde et lauréat de nombreux prix et nominations. En 2017, elle tourne LES PETITES VAGUES présenté en première mondiale au TIFF et en première internationale à la Berlinale. En plus de se consacrer à l’écriture de son premier long métrage, Ariane termine son prochain court métrage LES PROFONDEURS qui débutera sa vie en festival en 2019.
Ariane made her director debut with her short film Wild Skin, which has travelled in more than 50 festivals and won numerous awards. In 2017, she directed Littles Waves, which had its world premiere at TIFF and international premiere at the Berlinale. In addition to devoting herself to writing her first feature film, Ariane just finished her next short film The Depths which will begins its festivals tour in 2019.
