IceCube is a neutrino detector buried in the 3km deep ice at the South Pole, it opens a new window into the universe. IceCube consists of over 5000 optical modules detecting light flashes in the ice over one cubic kilometer of volume.
Unfortunately there was a spec of dust on the sensor, easy to remove for one image, but hard in a time lapse without seeing any artefacts
