this is originally a performance done by Imani J'Lessa Wallace known as Lyrical Faith for Harlem Week a few years ago. i met Imani at the Malcolm X Birthday Celebration this year where she recited 3 poems, 2 of them along with Christine O singing. i was so moved by her skills that i thought i would like to create a visual illustration of the lyrics of a piece by her and she said it would be great if i did that... the result being what i have created here. the Bonus Clip adjacent to this footage in my playlist was just me trying to create SuperDimensional Graffiti, a term i coined for the type of visual that it is. note that i also did a visual record scratch of some of the graff using a sample of her lyrics.
